Small but very nice Carvoeiro beach (Praia do Carvoeiro) is located right in the centre of Carvoeiro town square. This clean sand beach is perfect for sunbathing, snorkeling and swimming. The beach has toilet and shower facilities. It is easily accessible for wheelchair users. Most boat trips start at this beach where you can book trips to see dolphins or explore the most famous Algarve’s caves. You can also hire jet skis and try some water sports here. The Carvoeiro beach can get very busy during summer months, therefore finding a parking space close to this beach might be challenging. The beach gets sun all day long and it has no shade, remember to take an umbrella with you especially when traveling with small children.
The Carvoeiro beach is just a few steps away from many little shops, cafes, bars, ice cream parlours and restaurants. Great spot to watch the sunset. Simply gorgeous!
